We provide emergency medical, dental, and prescriptions for children age birth thru age 18 who are either uninsured or under insured in Carroll County, MD. We work in conjunction with Carroll County Health Dept. and help fund the Transition Program and Junction.
Description:
The Carroll County Children's Fund consists of a volunteer board of unpaid professionals working together to help with the emergency medical, prescription, and dental needs of the children in Carroll County. Our operating expenses are roughly 4%, which goes towards filing our annual tax return. Our income comes from fund raising activities and donations throughout the year. Currently, we are seeking volunteer board members who are willing to help solicit funds, write grants, and organize fund raising activities.
History:
The Carroll County Children's Fund was established in 1983 by Dr. Karl Green, a retired Pediatrician. We are delighted to be serving the children of Carroll County for 25 years!
