Description:
Tabitha's House provides food, clothing, household goods and school supplies to needy families in Harford County. Our primary source of funding is through a thrift store we run. Anyone can shop at Tabitha's House. All proceeds go back into the organization to cover expenses and purchase items for clients: i.e. food, toiletries, cleaning supplies and school supplies. We are always in need of good volunteers to help with sorting, pricing and helping in the thrift store.
History:
Tabitha's House open it's doors in October of 1998. We began in a small parsonage on the campus of Mountain Christian Church. We are now in our third location--we continue to out grow our buildings--and about to celebrate our 10th anniversary.
