The mission of Faith in Action of Wright County is to develop a partnership of faith organizations and community agencies whose purpose is to foster supportive relationships with individuals who are finding life difficult because of aging,or disability, in order to make a difference in the quality of their lives.

Description:
Faith in Action is dedicated to helping aging people maintain their independence by providing assistance with their everyday activities, such as transportation, grocery shopping assistance, friendly visiting, or light household chores. We are an organization whose volunteers provide services to our senior citizens who would otherwise find them unavailable or unaffordable. Trained volunteers are carefully matched with care receiver's needs. Join us in a ministry that makes a real difference.

History:
Faith in Action started providing services for the elderly of Wright County in 2003. Faith in Action of Wright County has recruited, trained and assigned over 55 adult volunteers from faith congregations and the community to assist many elderly citizens in Wright County. Faith in Action of Wright County is one of more than 1,200 Faith in Action programs in the United States. A neighbor's independence depends on you. Continued success depends on increasing the financial and volunteer involvement of the community.
