![]() ![]() Equestrian Connection-Horse ranch respite transportation and participation
![]() Respite activity, in safe places outside of Anna Marie's shelter, can restore energy and influence perspective for women and children experiencing domestic abuse. The Equestrian Connection influences self-esteem through increasing self-confidence. Bonding with horses through learning how to groom, and work on the ground or ride -- helps women gain an increased sense of purpose, and being in control. Women volunteers will attend one of Anna Marie's orientations prior engaging in this volunteer service of transporting women from Anna Marie's to the horse ranch and engaging in the activities. This opportunity is sponsored by: Anna Marie's Alliance We need volunteers who are free at these times
