There are seniors living in their own home who are no longer able to pound a hammer to fix that loose board on the steps, remove fallen branches after a storm,or rake the leaves from their lawn. Volunteering to lend a helping hand can mean the difference between a senior remaining in their home or going into a nursing home. Volunteering just an hour here and there can make a difference to a senior.
We have a short orientation to the program and we do a background check. Volunteers who are under 18 need to be supervised by an adult. Volunteers must provide their own transportation to the clients home. This opportunity is sponsored by: Foley Area C.A.R.E. LAH/BNP
We need volunteers who are free at these times
