1. Enter your agency's name
This step ensures that someone else in your organization has not already entered your information. When you click "Sign Up!" at the end of this page, you will be asked for more detailed information about your agency such as mission, history, contact information and agency details.
2. Enter at least one volunteer opportunity
After filling out the information about your agency, you can fill out information for as many volunteer opportunities or events that you have. These opportunities and events are essential for volunteers to find out about your agency. At least one volunteer opportunity posting is required. All one-time opportunities are automatically shown on the monthly calendar. 3. Submit your registration request
Once you have completed the process, a site administrator will review the information.
4. Agency Visit/Orientation
Once we have recieved your agency listing, a staff member will be contacting you to schedule an agency visit/orientation to answer any questions you have about how to use the site, to show you the "ins and outs" of the site, and to let you know about additional services the United Way Volunteer Center can offer your agency. We will contact you within 5 days of recieving your agency listing.
The signup process should take approximately 15 minutes provided that you have all the information listed below available. Before starting, make sure you have the following information on hand: Primary agency contact's up-to-date email, phone number and address, your agency's Mission statement and description of services statement, coordinator's name, phone and address for each listing, title of listings, descriptions, and dates (where applicable)
Important tips:
• Include up-to-date information about your agency and your volunteer opportunities. We aim to provide potential volunteers with current and up-to-date information. Please update on a regular basis.
• Create a password that you can share with all users. If you have multiple people logging on to your listing, it is important they all know the password so they can log in.
