Grace Episcopal Church's Food Pantry mission is to serve individuals in need of food. On an average day we provide food for 30-50 families in need, which result in assistance to approximately 570 families per month. Although we are a small pantry, we work hard to ensure that all who come to us in need are served.

We have recently hired a part-time Volunteer Coordinator who will be focusing on increasing our volunteer pool and assisting with coordination of volunteer placement.

Description:
The Grace Church Food Pantry is a non-profit organization which provides food to individuals who qualify based on the federal income guidelines.

Clients can access food from the Pantry twice a month. Pantry hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays: 1:00-3:00 p.m. and Saturdays 10:00 until noon.

On Tuesdays the Pantry is also open from 10:00 until 11:00 for the Hispanic community. Pantry volunteers during that time speak Spanish.

History:
The Grace Church Food Pantry has been in existence for over 20 years and has survived because of the generosity of the kind souls who have volunteered to work at fund raising events,or weekly pantry hours, or food procurement,or bulk food bagging or by money donations. We could not exist without our volunteer staff.

Although the pantry is housed in Grace Episcopal Church, volunteers are members of the greater Madison community and new volunteers are always welcome. There are many different ways to volunteer that can make a difference in someones life.
