Mentoring and internship placement support for High School and College level students, as well as recent alumni, who have a health, mental health, mobility, learning, visual, hearing, or other type of disability.
Description:
The Midwest Alliance provides a mentoring and career placement program for students and alumni with disabilities. Our overall goal is to increase the preparedness and involvement of students with disabilities in certain social science, science, technology, engineering, and math fields.
History:
The Midwest Alliance was founded with a 5-Year $3 million grant from the National Science Foundation in 2005. Our grant runs through August 31, 2010.
