The Four Lakes Group of the Sierra Club is an all volunteer organization dedicated to environmental education and conservation. We represent most of Southwest Wisconsin, including Madison. In addition to our conservation work, we put out newsletters, host an active outings calendar and hold free monthly educational programs. Within Madison we also have a Sierra Student Coalition on the UW campus and our Inner City Outings section working with disadvantaged urban youth.
Description:
Our member meetings are the third Wednesdays of the month. Conservation Program meets the first Monday of the month. Outings meets on the third Thursday of the month. Our political program meets on the fourth Thursday of the month.
History:
We are the oldest environmental organization in the nation.
