To provide equal access for qualified students with a disability to programs and services offered through University of Wisconsin Colleges.

Description:
The University of Wisconsin Colleges provides audio textbooks for students with print disabilities who have an approved accommodation plan indicating a need for audio textbooks. The University of Wisconsin Colleges will provide the volunteer reader with training(1 hour approx.), recording equipment and textbook along with a course syllabus. Readers can do the recordings from their homes or at the University of Wisconsin Colleges, Student Accessibility Services office in Madison.

History:
The University of Wisconsin Colleges is a group of 13 two-year campuses located throughout the State of Wisconsin. It is part of the University of Wisconsin System. The central administrative offices for the University of Wisconsin Colleges are located at 780 Regent Street, Madison, WI. The Student Accessibility Services office for all 13 campuses is located in the central administrative offices in Madison.
