The Boys & Girls Club of Dane County is a youth guidance organization providing after-school and summer camp opportunities for young people to learn and grow in the following areas: education & career, sports & recreation, character & leadership, health & life skills, and arts & cultural enrichment.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Club is to provide quality programs to enhance self-esteem and promote academic, physical and social development of young people ages 7 through 18. We provide positive alternatives in a safe environment through diversified programming, created to help young people develop into positive, productive, and caring citizens.

The Club serves over 500 young people annually with a daily attendance of approximately 150.

History:
The Boys & Girls Club of Dane County was founded in January 1999, establishing operations in the former South Madison Neighborhood Center. The Boys & Girls Club of Dane County is affiliated with the national organization Boys & Girls Club of America. There are over 3000 Boys & Girls Clubs located throughout the county and overseas, serving over 3.3 million boys & girls.
