Hancock Center for Dance/Movement Therapy, Inc. is a non-profit, charitable organization created to promote the informed and effective use of dance/movement therapy.
Description: Its mission is to provide dance/movement therapy services to people in the Dane County community. Hancock Center also extends its services statewide through outreach trainings, workshops and presentations. It is a supporting agency of the Marian Chace Foundation of the American Dance Therapy Association, Inc.
History: Hancock Center, now entering its third decade, is located at 16 N. Hancock St, a residential street in downtown Madison, Wisconsin, near the state capitol. Facilities in this century-old house, include two spacious movement studios, a reference library, and staff offices.
