Options in Community Living, Inc. (Options) believes that every person has the right to live in their own home as an active member of the community. Our mission is to provide support to enable adults with developmental disabilities to live in their own homes. Options strives to help people with disabilities and the larger community learn from one another, in order to promote mutual understanding, and fulfillment of the potential of each individual.

Description:
Options' services are available to people who are at least 18 years of age, live in Dane County, and have a developmental disability. Eligibility for services is determined by the Dane County Human Services Department, and referrals are made by Dane County Adult Community Services or by support brokers for individuals who are electing to direct their own services. Currently, Options supports 103 people ranging in age from 23 to 80. 90% of the people supported by Options experience varying degrees of mental retardation. Options supports people with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, brain injury, mental illness, and hearing impairments; many people have multiple and severe disabilities.
