The South Madison Coalition of the Elderly brings people together who care about the older adults in our community. Our purpose is to preserve the independence, dignity, and life satisfaction of older adults and provide support for families and caregivers.
Description:
The South Madison Coalition is a non-profit agency providing social services for the older adults of our community. Services provided include Information and Referral, Case Management, Volunteer Home Chore Program, Meal Programs, Volunteer Guardianship Program, and Neighborhood Senior Center. Volunteers are needed to assist older adults with home chore services, office work, serving meals and acting as guardians.
History:
South Madison Coalition of the Elderly has been providing social services for the past 27 years. We are a community based agency started by a group of community volunteers who recognized the needs of older adults in their neighborhood.
