Located in the heart of the City, with a history in the downtown, we work to serve our community's underserved population by providing emergency food and transportation assistance.
Description:
Outreach Programs at FUMC include a Food Pantry; one night per month at the Men's Drop-in Shelter; and three holidays meals for anyone alone or in need. Volunteers have the opportunity to interact with client families. A variety of hours and tasks are available.
History:
Our parent organization, First United Methodist Church, was the first church in Madison. We have been in the heart of the City for over 165 years. Our outreach programs, as presently designed, have been in operation for the past twenty years.
