History:
Fit City Madison began in September 2003 with a kick off event at the Iron Man Wisconsin. We conducted a Health Summit with; government, private and public sector organizations as well as concerned individuals about the rise in sedentary lifestyle and obesity. From here groups have formed addressing this issues at the local level. We continue to host events, health summits, and work as small workgroups to address issues of concern.
