The SAIL program's purpose is to help enhance the health, wellness, and independence of people over the age of 55. Considered to be the wave of the future, groups such as SAIL are starting all across the United States.
Description:
SAIL is a non-profit organization which provides personalized assistance and support to persons 55 years of age or older. We offer a variety of consierge-like services with access to prescreened vendors and customer advocacy, basic computer assistance, house checks while you are away, quarterly mattress flipping, Rise & Shine daily check-in service, SAIL SOS (Sense of Security) discount, volunteer opportunities, transportation arrangements, and volunteer opportunities.
History:
SAIL started operations in 2005 and is a program of the Madison Area Continuing Care Consortium, Inc. in collaboration with Attic Angel Association, Home Health United, HospiceCare Inc., and Oakwood Lutheran Homes Association, Inc.
