Youth Services of Southern Wisconsin (YSOSW) provides innovative services dedicated to strengthening and improving the lives of youth, their families and our community.
Description:
The Briarpatch division of YSOSW is a community-based organization serving South Central Wisconsin. We dedicate ourselves to strengthening and empowering teens and their families, providing immediate access to free, confidential services, and reflecting the social and ethnic diversity of the community.
History:
Founded in 1972, the Briarpatch division of Youth Services of Southern Wisconsin is the only agency in Dane, Jefferson, and Dodge counties specializing in services to teens and their families. We offer a broad array of programs that serve teens in crisis, runaways, and homeless youth. In addition to helping teens in distress, Briarpatch also works to encourage healthy behaviors and promote leadership development through out youth group programs.
