We supply a "New Diagnosis Duffel Bag" to kids and teens during their first hospitalization in Madison after a cancer diagnosis. We include informational materials, books, writing materials plus playing cards, puzzle books, toys, games and distractions appropriate to the age of the child receiving the bag. We need new, gender-neutral toys, activity books and crafts supplies that will fit in the bag that kids can play with in bed or in a hospital room. Small electronic games (scrabble, yahtzee, boggle, etc.) and other items for teens are especially welcome. We can always find loving arms for new stuffed animals, too.
Don't have items to donate? We need help watching the sale ads so we can purchase these items as cheaply as possible. If you see appropriate toys and games in a local sales ad, send us an email and let us know!
