When International students studying at UW-Madison come to campus, they are often faced with many challenges and struggles with becoming adjusted to the United States and campus life. This is a great way to join the hundreds of other college students who have become involved in BRIDGE over the years and become a cultural navigator and friend to an international student. You have the opportunity to learn about a new culture, expand your knowledge in global issues, while at the same time sharing your culture and values with your partner!!
Participants must be University of Wisconsin-Madison students and are required to attend a mandatory Intercultural Leadership Workshop sponsored by BRIDGE that focuses on cultural adjustment and communication. In addition, the Welcome Event is mandatory because this is where you will be introduced to your partner! This opportunity is sponsored by: BRIDGE (Building Relationships In Diverse Global Environments)
