This opportunity will provide you valuable teaching experiences and working with people from other cultures. Our learners are UW employees came from many countries around the world and speak different languages. What they need is help to improve their English so they can communicate with co-workers and supervisors at work, able to report problems at work and able to give description of a person if someone enter their work areas illegally. Tutoring location will be decided by the tutor/employee. It can be on or off campus and at a mutually convenient time.

Willingness to help and listen and have patience are what we look for. We provide a short tutor training to every volunteer.
