Friends of the Dane County Farmers' Market is looking for people interested in planning and preparing market-product related activities to use at the School on the Square next summer. Some of the things done in past years are planting seeds, transplanting seedlings, drying herbs, using herbs in dips and oil, making compost with worms, making musical instruments with gourds, stamping greeting cards with veggie dyes, and the ever popular, making edible jewelry. Friends would like people with diverse backgrounds to meet for planning this summer's Schools. They are looking for teachers, gardeners, naturalists, artists, parents, grandparents, chefs and cooks and anyone else interested in encouraging our community to learn more about and use fresh, local produce and farm products. Your interest in the only requirement. This opportunity is sponsored by: Friends of Dane County Farmers' Market
