Family Centers has incorporated water gardens to be environmentally friendly with our water runoff and prevent it from entering the sewers. These gardens are a beautiful display of Wisconsin native plants that provide color all year long. We need to clear out all of the dead growth from last year so that the new growth will expand and continue to thrive. If you would like to learn about water gardens and what plants you can use in your own garden, come help us out! This little maintenance up front in the spring sets the stage for a self-maintained garden throughout the remainder of the year. No training is necessary. In fact, you will LEARN while you volunteer your time! This opportunity is sponsored by: Family Centers, Inc.
