The Aldo Leopold Nature Center is seeking volunteers to remove invasive, non-native plants and maintain trails as part of an effort to restore woodlands and prairies at The Aldo Leopold Nature Center’s campus in Black Earth.

“If you enjoy getting your hands dirty and connecting with the land, come out to Black Earth and help us steward 38 mostly wooded acres,” said Joel Stone, Volunteer Coordinator at Black Earth.

Work parties will be held on the first Wednesday and/or the second Saturday of every month. Call for this month's dates.

Volunteers are welcome to participate for the whole day starting at 9 am and ending at 3 pm or come only for the morning (9 am - Noon) or only the afternoon (Noon -3 pm).
