We are looking for volunteers to fill vacancies for fall of 2008 Each volunteer would be asked to commit 4-6 hours, one day per week for approximately 16 weeks. The duties include general office work including clerical work, research and writing, and answering calls. Additionally qualified volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in cases, as appropriate.

Training will be based on an individual's knowledge, skills, and abilities. We are primarily seeking volunteers who are college students or professionals with an interest in the law in general, and using the law to serve low-income individuals in particular. Due to ethical and professional responsibilities, we require interested persons to email us a cover letter and resume and a list of times they are available to volunteer.

 From the Beltline: Exit John Nolen Drive. This will take you toward downtown. Turn Left at the stoplight on to Broom. Take an immediate right at the first stop light on to Wilson. Go one block. At the stoplight you will be at the intersection of Wilson, Henry and S. Hamilton. We are the red brick building with large white pillars in front. From East Washington: Take E. Washington toward the Capitol. Turn Left on to Butler. Go two blocks and take a Right (soft Right) at the stop light on to Wilson. Go past the Capitol. At the stoplight you will be at the intersection of Wilson, Henry and S. Hamilton. We are the red brick building with large white pillars in front. From West Washington: Take W. Washington toward the Capitol. Turn Right on Henry (2 blocks before the Capitol). Go three blocks. At the stop sign will be at the intersection of Wilson, Henry and S. Hamilton. We are the red brick building located on your left on the three way corner. Nearest Bus Stops: Wilson— Hamilton, stop # 564 and Doty—Henry, stop # 668. All Capitol stops are very close.
