The Trumbull Community Women (TCW) was organized in 1965 (as Trumbull Junior Woman's Club) for the purpose of providing "Service to Others"; our club motto. It was formed to promote civic involvement through volunteer service in cultural, educational & social areas. We are a non-profit, non-sectarian, non-partisan, non-political women's organization.
Description:
The Trumbull Community Women is a group of multi-talented women who donate their time to serve our community and grow in friendship. Members are dedicated to community service and to promoting common interests in education, public health, fine arts, civic and philanthropic projects. TCW is a member of Connecticut Junior Women, Inc., a statewide organization of over 70 Junior and Juniorette clubs with nearly 2,000 members. Trumbull is a part of District VIII, along with clubs from Milford, Newtown, Shelton, Stamford, and Stratford. Trumbull Trumbull Community Women also sponsors a group for young women in 6th through 12th grades called the Trumbull Young Women's Club.
