Come join the Bangor Area Storm Water Group during the 4th Annual Stream Cleanup Event. Volunteers will help enhance the quality of water entering the Penobscot River by picking up trash along the banks of the area’s rivers and streams.

The cleanup will only take a few hours in the morning followed by a neighborhood celebration with great prizes and some special guest appearances.

This is the perfect opportunity for you to become directly involved in water pollution prevention. Join us on May 17 and help beautify your town.

We are looking for team leaders to lead groups of no more than a dozen volunteers on individual stream assignments. Small children should be accompanied by an adult.

Volunteers will be instructed on safety and given cleanup gear.
