Volunteers are vital to the Museum, and each year more than 100 different volunteers give generously of their time (nearly 3,000 hours!) and talents in support of our mission and operations. While some volunteers come on a regular schedule each week, others volunteer for specific events or activities annually. Volunteer opportunities exist in the following arenas:

*Museum gallery docent
*Visitor services
*Walking Tour Guide of the historic district
*Office support and mailings
*Collections cataloguing and data entry
*Special events
*Educational programs and school group tours
*Facilities and grounds, including gardening
*Gallery preparation

In addition, the Museum's trustees and committee members are also all volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering at the Museum, please call 207.985.4802 or visit our website at http://www.brickstoremuseum.org/volunteer.shtml to download and submit our volunteer information sheet. Thank you!

Certain volunteer opportunities require certain skills which may include usage of computers and office equipment. Basic training is provided, but call the Museum to discuss how we might best utilize your talents.
