The United Way of Greater Plymouth County is making an IMPACT. We are mobilizing communities to create sustained changes in community conditions to improve lives. Health and Human service agencies across Greater Plymouth County receive funding from the ongoing campaign drive. Programs sponsored by 25 different agencies that meet the identified needs of the community are allocated funds each Spring. Your dollars are directed to the community where they are needed most.

Description:
The United Way is a fundraiser and a community solutions provider. Assessing the needs of the community and identifying how funds and resources can best be used is the core mission of the United Way. Volunteer community residents review agency proposals and recommend to the Board of Directors how investment dollars pledged during the year should be allocated.

History:
For the past 85 years the United Way of Greater Plymouth County (formerly the Old Colony United Way )has reached out to businesses spreading the message of the United Way, contributions stay local. It is the most convenient way for employees to invest in their community by accessing payroll deduction and giving throughout the year back to the community where they live and work.
