RochesterCares creates and manages effective volunteer programs to meet and exceed the educational, environmental, and human service targets of the greater Rochester community.

Description:
We provide meaningful and flexible volunteer opportunities for people who don't have flexible lifestyles. We have many projects covering many different service areas. Each project last 1 to 3 hours and is conveniently scheduled on nights or on weekends. We team up with many different agencies around Rochester to help provide project management and volunteer support for those needs that are being unmet or for programs that need expanding. History:
We are an affiliate of the Hands On Network. A volunteer and civic engagement advocate that is located in 32 cities around the US and UK. RochesterCares was formed originally in late 2001 and runs approximately 20 projects per month.
