Services are provided by professional and lay volunteers and are focused primarily on the uninsured and underinsured in Monroe County and surrounding counties.

Description:
St. Joseph's provides a full range of primary medical services and mental health counseling at no/low cost to uninsured individuals and families. Adult education services are available including pre-testing, GED preparation, certification training and basic literacy. One-to-one tutoring is the norm. I was a cleint of St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center

I learned a lot just by spending time at St. Joseph's as it was an interesting place. I volunteered at St. Joseph's House of Hospitality and whenever things got to be too much, I could always go to St. Joseph's to speak to someone there. I have found memories of the time I spent there.
