Seacoast Academy is an independent day school in the New Hampshire seacoast serving grades 6, 7, and 8.
Description:
Seacoast Academy is an independent school. An independent, self-perpetuating Board of Trustees governs Seacoast Academy as a 501 c(3) not-for-profit organization. Formed by the Episcopal tradition, we are committed to the values of spiritual growth, respect for others, and appreciation of diversity. We work in alliance with our students’ families to provide an innovative, nurturing and caring environment that inspires in our students a passion for learning, academic excellence, creative exploration, physical challenge and spiritual curiosity. We encourage our students to find the best in themselves and to make a connection with and serve their community.
History:
For five years a group of dedicated citizens, including educators, lawyers, entrepreneurs, and clergy, worked to create a new educational option for middle school students in the seacoast regions. Seacoast Academy was born of the energy and talent of these visionaries.
In 2006 the Academy was able to secure Liberty Farm in Hampton Falls as its home. This beautiful, country campus is the perfect setting for our family-like atmosphere. Seacoast Academy attracted experienced teachers with strong credentials and a heart for middle school students. Seacoast Academy students possess a wide variety of interests and talents, music, athletics, and reading in particular. They share in common intelligence, curiosity, and a desire to be academically challenged.
Founded in the Episcopal tradition, the Academy welcomes students of all faiths to study and strengthen their knowledge, understanding, beliefs, and spirituality.
