The Players' Ring is dedicated to provide a performance space in the community to encourage and support the work of local playwrights, local actors and directors, technicians, and community based production companies.

Description:
The Players' Ring is located in an historic waterfront building in Strawbery Banke, Portsmouth, NH. The PR season runs year round, offering main stage productions September thru June and a summer series. The PR produces plays written by local authors as part of each season, as well as offering the stage, workshop and wardrobe/props to community groups for their own theatrical productions.

History:
The Players' Ring was established in 1992 to allow local playwrights and production companies a venue to showcase their work. Since inception the PR has provided a venue for 185 main stage productions. In the past few years the PR has added a late night series in the summer, averaging 6 - 8 productions per summer season as well as the Tuesday night Improv.
