Our mission: The Portsmouth Women's City Club is a women's organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.

Description: Portsmouth Women's City Club is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, which is the largest organization of women clubs in the world.
We are an IRS Code Section 501(c)(3) organization.
We support a broad range of projects including; the March of Dimes, Salvation Army, Special Olympics, New Generations, Head Start and other community projects. Our organization offers two scholarships each year to outstanding female students from the Portsmouth High School pursuing degrees in the scientific field. The Bertha Reardon Scholarship is also awarded annually to an outstanding female student from the Portsmouth High School who will pursue a career in business.
History:
History: The Portsmouth Women's City Club is one of the oldest women's clubs in Portsmouth, established in 1920 as a place where women would gather together for fellowship and to volunteer in the community to improve
the well-being of the seacoast citizens. This practice
has continued through the years. Through our fund-raising efforts we have contributed significant monetary amounts to other needy non-profit organization in the seacoast.
