Mission: Rallying resources to meet our community's most pressing needs. The UWGS houses the Volunteer Action Center, a clearinghouse and referral service for volunteerism throughout the region.
Description:
The United Way of the Greater Seacoast is a nonprofit, community-based organization governed and operated by volunteers throughout Strafford and Rockingham Counties, NH and Kittery and Eliot, ME. Its territory is made up of 45 communities.
History:
The United Way of the Greater Seacoast is one of 1800, independent, self-governing United Way organizations located throughout the United States. It is over seen by a Board of Directors comprised of business and community leaders from the Seacoast region.
