Riverside Rest Home, where quality of life matters most, offers a wide variety of activities specifically tailored for each resident. In addition Riverside offers the most diverse day-out programs in the Seacoast area, complete with readily available transportation. we promote self-care, work, and play activities to help residents enhance every aspect of their lives.

Description:
Riverside Rest Home, a county nursing home facility, has 215 beds that accommodate our residents who may be experiencing many illnesses that require the need for 24-hour care. Our programs are based on the belief that having a sense of purpose prevents disability and keeps people healthy. We also have a specialized behavioral management unit and two Alzheimer care units. We welcome the involvement of the surrounding community which is essential to sustaining the volunteer program. Through our volunteer program, we help our residents move about freely in the community to maintain active involvement with friendly, interested and caring volunteers.

Take next left. (County Farm Road). Follow to the very end. At stop sign take left. Riverside Rest Home is on your right, use second driveway.

 I've gained the respect for seeing first hand the unique caring from staff and volunteers at Riverside Rest Home. I've been given the great opportunity to share my computer skills with staff, allowing the chance to improve efficiency and thereby providing the staff to be more available for resident and volunteer concerns
