The Community Diversion Program is a small non-profit agency committed to working with at-risk youth, to eliminate the need for court involvement or further court involvement. We provide services to youth and families in Eastern Rockingham County at no charge to the family, in order to assist youth in reaching their potential and to avoid court involvement or further court involvement.

Description:
The Community Diversion Program offers a multitude of programs and community service opportunities for youth, all free of charge. Our services range from Alcohol, Tobacco and Drug Education, Conflict Resolution Courses, Family Mediation. The Agency also provides prevention workshops for area schools.

History:
The Community Diversion Program began in 1995 as strictly a police and court diversion program. Since that date we have expanded our services to include mediation and open our doors to parents and schools for referrals. CDP works with youth 11 - 18 years old and offers free programming for youth and families.
