Our mission is to provide an environment for all girls that inspires them with high ideals and aspirations and helps them to become confident, caring, involved members of their community.

We're for Every Girl Everywhere.

Girl Scouts is the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls--all girls--where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adults, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives--like strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth.

Description:
We provide services and support to the 11,000 girl members and 3,000 adult volunteers in the ten counties of southern, western and central Maine. This region encompasses 900 troops, dozens of specialty programs and three permanent camps/program sites.

We provide girl program for girls ages 5-17. Camp Scelkit is one of our resident camps and it is located on Gerrish Island off the coast of Kittery.
