Our mission is to ensure delivery of quality child care to York County families in safe, nurturing & stimulating environments that allow children to reach full potential. We are committed to supporting caregivers through ongoing training, compensation & career advancement.
Description:
The Children's Center Kittery is a private non-profit child care program which offers subsidized sliding scale fees to income eligible families. We have diverse populations utilizing full & part time schedules,as well as full non subsidized and sliding scale fees. We are licensed for 30 children ages 2 years to 5 years of age. We believe in hands on discovery learning allowing for the individual learning styles of each child.
History:
The Children's Center Kittery is part of Child Care Services of York County which currently has: 3 child care sites, CareLink Resource & Development Center, and CDA York County - a child care certification program. All child care sites have been NAEYC accredited.

From NH - Take I-95 to exit 3 (Kittery Outlets). Pass all outlets. Will pass the turnpike Rest Area turn off on your left, then a truck weigh station area. On your right will be a strip mall. Turn right at the end of the strip mall in to the parking lot. We are in the building in the back. |
