We provide community-based residential care and treatment for adolescent girls who are involved with the NH court system through abuse/neglect, CHINS and/or delinquent petitions.
Description:
We are a non-profit residential home for adolescent girls in need. Many of the girls referred to Our House, have come from difficult home environments and are in need of a great deal of structure and support in their daily lives. Our goal, for 30 years, has been to provide a nurturing environment that encourages positive personal growth. We, also, work to help reunify the girls with their families, when possible.
History:
Our agency was established in 1975. We were originally located in a cramped second floor of a city-owned building, but in 1998, we raised sufficient funding and financing to purchase our own house. Our new facility is spacious and comfortable and has facilitated a significant improvement in our services.
