Lamprey Health Care provides primary health care to individuals of all ages regardless of their ability to pay. Lamprey Health Care seeks to remove all barriers that may prevent someone from obtaining proper health care.

Description:
Lamprey Health Care is a nonprofit, federally funded community health center with sites in Newmarket, Raymond and Nashua. The agency provides primary health care and health related support services - such as translation, social services, nutrition education, chronic disease management, transportation, and information and referral - for the health and well being of its communities. Lamprey Health Care provides pediatric care, prenatal care, adolescent health care, adult care and geriatric care. The agency serves over 17,000 patients and provides over 67,000 medical visits annually.

History:
Lamprey Health Care was first established in 1971 as an information and referral services in response to the community's need for access to health care. The agency's first health center was established in Newmarket. It then expanded to add a site in Raymond in 1980 to meet the communities' needs for accessible and affordable health care. In 2000, Lamprey Health Care established Nashua Area Health Center in Nashua.

Directions:

 Route 33 towards Stratham. Turn right at circle on Route 108. Drive approximately five miles into Newmarket. As you approach Newmarket downtown and go over railroad tracks, take left towards Rt. 152 (past Gepetto's Pizza). Turn left on Rt. 152. Lamprey Health Care is about 1/2 mile up on left.
