Acorn School will provide quality pre-school and kindergarten experiences for children, in a nurturing and constructive environment.
Description:
We are a pre-school and kindergarten located in a rural setting in Stratham, NH. We have 8 classes offered for 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds and 5-year-olds. A highly committed and qualified staff provides care and a rich learning environment for our students. Socialization skills are learned through lots of play for the younger children, while the older students gain a firm and full grasp of the kindergarten curriculum. We are governed by a volunteer group of our parents. We have been in existence for over 30 years! We are a nonprofit organization.
History:
Becky Shepard began the school in Hampton Falls in 1972, as a preschool & kindergarten. In 1987, we became a nonprofit organization. We moved to our current location in 1975.

From Rt 33, in Stratham, turn onto Winnicut Road (Ocean National Bank is on the corner of Rt 33 and Winnicut), Go approx 2 miles, and as a marker look for a log cabin styled house on the left and almost directly across the street is the driveway entrance to Acorn School. There is a sign there, but it is rather "low Profile". This is 136R Winnicut Road....follow the driveway to the end for the school. |
