NCEP's mission is to enhance social, recreational and educational opportunities for children and youth in Newmarket, with a priority given to children with disabilities or who are on the periphery of social and educational experiences.
Description:
NCEP is committed to providing financial resources to benefit the Newmarket School District, Recreation Department, Public Library and other deserving local organizations that serve children and youth in Newmarket. These resources are in addition to and independent of public funding streams and will be used to improve the social, recreational and educational experiences of all students in our community by expanding opportunities, programs and access to materials and other resources. We are committed to the special needs of each individual student and strive to provide opportunities to accommodate such needs.
History:
NCEP began in the summer of 2004 with a group of women having kitchen table discussions around enhancing education in Newmarket. In May 2006 NCEP received its 501 c 3 status. With start up funds, NCEP has been able to fund a variety of activities in town.
