Description:
Strafford Nutrition Meals on Wheels serves meals to homebound seniors who are recovering from surgery and other temporary conditions, or those who require meals on a continual basis. Meals are served Monday through Friday delivered to the homebound, or served at our four dining locations. We have monthly specials including the "Spring Fling" and our summer "Luau Day".
History:
In the 1960's Congress created the Older American Act to provide funding to help seniors maintain maximum independence and quality of life as they age. With this goal in mind Strafford Nutrition Meals on Wheels has been operating in Strafford County for more than thirty years. We are administered under the Somersworth Housing Authority.
