The Greenland Volunteer Fire Department provides firefighting service and EMS to the residents of Greenland NH.
Description:
The Greenland Volunteer Fire Department is always looking for new members. Last year we responded to over 300 calls - we could use your help! Being a member of GVFD is an opportunity for you to give something back to your community. You must be at least 18 years old, reside in Greenland or an abutting town, available to respond to emergencies and attend our monthly meetings and training. We provide Firefighter and EMT training - no experience is necessary. For additional information select the volunteer link at: www.GreenlandFire.org
History:
The Greenland Volunteer Fire Department was organized in 1952. The department has grown into a professional team of dedicated and highly-trained volunteer firefighters and EMTs.
