Volunteer with children of any age you choose in a school or childcare center in your own town. Help children learn to read or cope with life's problems or nurture infants or toddlers in a childcare setting. This program is made for seniors who can use a small tax-free stipend for volunteering to help them make ends meet. It doesn't affect Social Security benefits or any local, state or federal benefits. The only requirements are that volunteers are age 60 or older and are moderate income, and enjoy children. This opportunity is sponsored by: Friends Foster Grandparent Program
