The Youth Volunteer Program at the Seacoast Science Center is designed to give twelve to seventeen year old students the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in a hands-on work environment. You might assist with preschool programs and camps, help with environmentally focused birthday parties, or help with visitor programs by doing experiment and craft stations. You will gain work ethics such as responsibility, teamwork, and communication and leave with a sense of accomplishment and personal growth. An interview will assess your interests and help match you with specific opportunities.

Youth volunteers must be dedicated to their service, ready to learn, and be a self-starter. Must be good communicator and willing to work with a team. Training depends on placement.
