To end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis, and to provide research monies and provide programs for people living with MS. We provide financial assistance, loan closet with equipment, lending library, literature,self help groups, educational programs and advocate for the person living with Multiple Sclerosis and their families.
Description:
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society has worked tirelessly to end the devastating effects of MS. We support more MS research and serve more people with MS than any other national voluntary health organization. In addition to funding the world's most promising basic clinical research, the Society provides high-quality community programs to educate and advocate on critical issues related to MS and supplies vital services to people living with MS.
History:
The Eastern Kansas Branch of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society has been in existence since 1946. We provide research monies and programs for people living Multiple Sclerosis.
