The mission of Friendly Visitors is to help older adults live independently by creating a network of community volunteers to provide companionship and non-medical support.

Description:
Friendly Visitors serves individuals 60 years of age and older. The program has assisted seniors through volunteer efforts since 1971. Volunteers call, visit, and provide transportation to seniors who wish to remain independent in their own homes. The program is managed by social workers who match volunteers with seniors who need assistance. Volunteer opportunities are available to fit any schedule, whether you are available an hour per week, or several hours each day.
