Description:
The two different types of housing opportunities include a transitional program for homeless working families, and an affordable housing program for low income families and individuals.

History:
Cornerstone of Topeka Inc. started in 1986 as a Family Shelter in the 500 block of Fillmore in a single house. It has grown over the past 20 years into a two program agency with short-term and long-term housing.
